Overview

As part of the Coalition’s education and outreach, it holds two 2-day meetings per year - one members-only meeting in the fall and one open meeting in the spring. Meetings provide education on current issues and an opportunity to meet with other packaging industry executives focused on the sustainability issues around packaging.

In addition to meetings, the Coalition hosts Open Forum calls on topics of interest. These calls are open to all members and provide an opportunity for continuing education. We encourage members to submit topics or to present on topics that they feel are of interest to members.

The SPC believes it will require collaboration throughout the supply chain to affect the changes needed to realize sustainable packaging. As a result, external outreach is an important focus of the Coalition. The SPC continually looks for opportunities to advance its mission through strategic partnerships or participation in conferences and meetings.
