The Essentials of Sustainable Packaging course is designed for packaging and corporate professionals seeking a deeper understanding of sustainability and how sustainability criteria can be effectively integrated into the packaging development process to enhance the lives of people, lower environmental impact and reduce costs.

The only course developed by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), The Essentials of Sustainable Packaging is structured around the SPC’s “Definition of Sustainable Packaging” and provides critical insights, design considerations, and innovative examples from the packaging industry and beyond.

The Essentials of Sustainable Packaging has over 250 alumni from leading companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations and educational institutions.

The Essentials of Sustainable Packaging course is developed and taught by professionals from the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), Packaging & Technology Integrated Solutions, LLC (PTIS), and Global Sustainability Solutions Inc. (GSSI), and the Packaging Association of Canada (PAC).

Cost

Costs: Member: $995 | Non-member: $1,350

Requirement for Member rate is membership with the SPC or the PAC.

Notes: Register 3 or more participants from your company and receive a 10% discount on total. Each registrant needs to complete a form.

On-Site Sessions

Substitutions/Cancellations

Essentials Workshop at the FMI Sustainability Summit
August 17, 2009

The SPC will host a special version of its highly regarded Essentials of Sustainable Packaging course at the 2009 FMI (Food Marketing Institute) Sustainability Summit. This pre-meeting workshop will be held Monday, August 17th from 9 am to 12 pm, and the cost is $100 for non-SPC members and $50 for SPC members.
