The Sustainable Packaging Coalition
provides a forum for its members to discuss and share perspectives
on the issues, practices, and solutions related to the creation
of more sustainable packaging systems.
Requirements to become a Coalition member:
- Membership in the Coalition shall be open to any for-profit
company or government
agency who complies with all of the following:
1. Has a substantiated interest in the packaging industry
2. Has read the vision and mission of the Coalition and
agrees with them in principle
3. Is willing to uphold the member guidelines & policies and anti-trust
guidelines set forth in this document.
At this time, we are not accepting applications from
business leagues/associations or non-governmental organizations/not-for-profits. We recognize
that associations & NGOs are an important resource and represent
important interests in sustainable packaging. We are
interested in maintaining relationships with associations
and NGOs and encourage them to attend our open meetings.

Annual dues are based on the calendar year and are effective January 1 through December 31. Membership applications received after July 1 will be
charged half the annual rate. Dues are determined by company or organization’s last annual revenue or operating budget
(gross money collected for goods and services before deducting taxes, expenses or other overhead).
2008 Membership Dues
Corporations
-
$1 billion or more - $11,000
-
$10 million to $1 billion - $ 6,000
-
Less than $10 million - $ 2,500
Government Agencies:

$10 million or more - $1,000

Less than $10 million - $ 500
All but $2,500 of the annual dues are considered a charitable contribution to GreenBlue and are tax deductible. GreenBlue will send the tax
deductible acknowledgement at the end of the calendar year.
- All prospective members must submit an application to
GreenBlue for approval.
